Suzanne currently is the lead careers adviser in Levenshulme and Whalley Range High Schools. She has many years experience in a variety of settings including secondary schools, Pupil Referral Units, FE colleges, and in the community. Her diverse skills include delivering mainstream guidance, intensive support and she is passionate about engaging with the 'hardest to reach' pupils to support them in their transition from school into further education, employment or training. She is a dynamic, multi-agency worker committed to supporting pupils holistically and helping every child to achieve their potential.
Sophie is our HE specialist and is currently leading in Whalley Range VI Form and has also worked at both Manchester Metropolitan and currently Salford University placing university students into industrial placements. She has significant experience of the UCAS system and using her in-depth knowledge of higher education she is in a position to offer high quality and inspirational CIAG through years seven to thirteen. In addition to all this she has eight years experience of leading the guidance in a challenging inner city school, where she achieved significant and hard won successes with a complex case-load of young people. She has also jointly developed an interactive hands on careers workshop for younger children, demonstrating her creative approach and adaptability.
Anna is our Senior Careers Adviser who's recent achievements include the successful pilot of the Careers Champions programme. She has a record of raising aspiration and reducing NEET numbers and has recently developed her own training on both LMI and the Destination Measure for schools including destination analysis and reporting.
Sue currently works in St Paul's RC High School bringing experience of both CIAG and the commercial sector, enabling her to deliver up to date guidance underpinned by a knowledge of industry and the demands and requirements of the modern workplace. With experience of recruitment and training for the Finance, Pharmacy and IT sectors she is able to relate skills needed in the work place to the future workforce in her school. Sue's tenacity and passion for careers and skills in employer engagement have proven her an asset, particularly to schools wishing to enhance their whole CIAG programme.
Jen works across Chorlton and Parrs Wood High Schools, she is a highly regarded adviser who has several years experience leading and delivering guidance in school and quickly grasps a school's priorities, using her collaborative approach to make a positive impact wherever she goes.
